We had a pretty incredibly awesome day today! We had a little later start than normal, but we didn't mind that much since we got to sleep longer. We made some stops at the market place and got to try some new fruits and candy type things. Once we finally arrived at the boy's home it was about lunch time, so most of the boys were still at school. And so we got time to hang out with some of the younger boys. One of their favorite games is carroms, and they are really good at it too! We aren't nearly as good as them, but they are trying to teach us so we're getting a little better each day. Mainly Bennett and William though. After the rest of the boys got back from school, we had a pretty insane game of cricket and some volleyball. Then Bennett caught a massive frog, but none of the boys wanted to tough it, including me. Once all the fun and games were over we had a little praise, devotion and some prayers. And then said our goodbyes for the day.
Thank you all for your prayers and support and we are looking forward to sharing more of our adventurers! If you all could pray for us for since we are leading Sunday School tomorrow, that would be awesome!

That is one fat frog!! Way to go Bennett, nice catch! I will be praying for your Sunday school lesson as I go to sleep tonight, which should be right about when you are getting dressed and ready to go on Sunday morning. Its 10:54 PM on Saturday evening here in VA right now, so that means its 8:24 AM on Sunday morning in Rajahmundry. I'm praying for you! Love Dad/Todd
ReplyDeleteLooks & Sounds like lots of bonding time with the boys. Am praying their hearts are open and you are bold for teaching. The daily posts are wonderful, please keep doing them. Blessings & lots of love! xoxo Mom Illsley
ReplyDeleteSounds like an awesome day! I'll certainly pray especially for Sunday School. Remember: you don't have to have everything perfect, have all the answers, or have everything completely put together. The boys will come eager to learn and that's what counts! I'll pray that God would help you recall everything that you've prepared, that He would give all three of you the words He would have you to say, for calm nerves, and for open hearts for the children who'll receive your lesson.
ReplyDeleteI want to leave you with a quote from one of my favorite Christian heroes of the faith: "Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him, and expect help from Him, He will never fail you." –George Mueller
Prayers & Blessings,

Love the pictures! I am glad to see you're enjoying the local fauna (aka: frogs!) and am sure the monkeys will show themselves as soon as word spreads that a Heidelberger is in India (Max left the monkeys quite a legacy!). Just give 'em time, William! Let us know how your Sunday School went. Love you boys!! Xoxo, Dana/Mom
