Blood on The Court!

Well, we had another awesome day with the boys, even though it was like thirty million trillion degrees outside. Before we headed over to the boys home, Solomon took us all around town, and let us try all these different foods. Some weren't very good but we were told to say yes to everything... So we have been. W
hat I could really go for is a nice juicy hamburger. Then we took a back way to get to the boys home, which took us through a lot of the country side and windy roads. Before the older boys got back from school, we had some fun playing football(soccer) and chickadee, a game I think they made up. Once everyone got back we organized a pretty awesome game of volleyball. It got so crazy we even had blood and lots of sweat. After that ended we went in for dinner, which was rice and fried chicken. It was so good I think they might have imported it from KFC. And we ended the day praying with the boys.

  1. What good boys, saying "yes" to everything! I can't wait to see pictures of what you ate! I hope Solomon was okay with the blood; I know he's pretty protective over "his boys". We are so proud of you all! Love and hugs, Mom/Dana

  2. YES,YES,YES!! I'm so glad that you are enjoying all the benefits of that word, keep it up! Make sure you're drinking lots of water and continue to have a great time. Please let us know what you perceive as the primary prayer needs of these boys so that we can focus some specific prayer on their behalf. Love you, Dad/Todd

  3. I am glad there was only blood and sweat, but no tears! Speaking from experience, you will never regret taking the risk to try all of these new foods and experiences-this might be your only opportunity, even if you don't end up liking everything. :)

    I love to hear how you are minister to all of the boys need and living out God's call as found in Isaiah (I'm studying this in a Bible study at church right now and made me think of y'all):

    "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,Because the Lord has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners;
    To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,To grant those who mourn in Zion,
    Giving them a garland instead of ashes,The oil of gladness instead of mourning,The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.So they will be called oaks of righteousness,The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified." ~Isaiah 61:1-6

    May you continue to shine Christ's light!
    Prayers & Blessings,
    Kelly
